The Warriors had the ball and were setting up their play, when DeMarcus Cousins and Kevin Durant bumped into each other, pushed off a little, and jawed at each other - something that happens 50 times a game. Both players were yelling and had to be separated before being ejected.

National Basketball Association rules state that players are automatically given a one-game suspension after reaching 16 technicals during the regular season and they are issued another one-game suspension for every two additional technicals after they reach 16.

At the end of the half, Steph Curry and Durant carried plus-minuses of -25 to the locker room, as a Warriors' defense that looked good on its first three games of a six-game road trip collapsed. Through the first 18 games of this season, he's been booted off the floor three times. I can't let anybody take me off my game.

"If it escalates, we got teammates and so many people that can get in between and prevent us from doing anything stupid because we're grown men, we don't want to get into nothing".

"I've been in the league for too long, especially with somebody like Cousins, we know that he's feisty, we know that he's emotional".

While coach Steve Kerr was proud of the Warriors' 76-46 second half - which erased a 69-49 half-time deficit - he said his team have to show more composure. I can't get involved with that. "We're not composed out there", he told

These kinds of spats are nothing new for Cousins, who led the league in technical fouls last season and got into it with Green earlier in Monday's game. "We're a championship team", Kerr said, according to the San Jose Mercury News. We have to be poised and we have to execute out there. Durant posted 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists. "It's late in the game". We're getting way too emotional, myself included.

"Obviously, you get a little concerned about it because at a certain number then the suspensions start", Gentry said.
