Get Out director Jordan Peele to helm Twilight Zone reboot

Director and actor Peele will serve as executive producer on this third revival, alongside Simon Kinberg, best known for his work on the X-Men franchise.

Peele seems like the flawless choice, who's social thriller Get Out already feels like a Twilight Zone episode.Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon will executive produce, while Peele, Kinberg, and Ramirez will "collaborate on the premiere episode". Now we've got a little more information from CBS about the reboot, including the fact that Jordan Peele (Get Out) will co-executive produce the show.

CBS has announced that it will soon be the destination to watch a "The Twilight Zone" reboot with Jordan Peele among the executive producers on the series.

The original series ran on CBS from 1959 to 1964. CBS has yet to announce a release date, casting, or an episode count. "The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true, and I'm so thrilled to be doing it with Jordan, Marco and the team at CBS All Access". Neither of those attempts managed to update the classic show to the modern era, instead, reminding audiences that the original Twilight Zone is the definite version.
