There's a new trailer out for Steven Spielberg's film adaptation of Ready Player One, a pop-culture encyclopedia in narrative fiction form. Either way, Ready Player One is expected to set geek tongues wagging, what with its open embrace of gaming tropes and endless nods, winks and references. Hidden in the Oasis is a easter egg left by its creator that grants whoever finds it half a trillion dollars and control of the Oasis game. The Iron Giant, who appeared in the film's San Diego Comic-Con trailer, can be seen again here, and fans of the hit online shooter "Overwatch" will be surprised to find the game's most popular character, Tracer, in this trailer running into battle alongside Chun-Li from "Street Fighter".

The nostalgia factor is set on high in the new trailer for Ready Player One. Cline pointed out similarities to another Spielberg film. Seeing Spielberg direct this film is such a dream come true for every geek out there. You can watch the first official-trailer below.

PM congratulates Iraq on defeating ISIS
Abdul-Amir Rasheed Yar Allah, a senior Iraqi military commander, in a statement Saturday afternoon. I pay tribute to the Iraqi security forces for their courage and sacrifice.

So how many Easter eggs did you catch in the Ready Player One trailer? With this in mind it would be reasonable to wonder whether Sheridan's leg in the newly released poster is just a bitter graphics artist getting one last laugh at Warner Bros. expense or actually a mysterious clue that hints at something else. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). The hero, a poverty-stricken teenager named Wade Watts (played by Tye Sheridan, who recently played young Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse), has a more distorted and very blue OASIS avatar - which goes by "Parzival", his OASIS username - while the avatar of presumably Art3mis (Olivia Cooke from Bates Motel) resembles a red elf creature.
