"I swear, if you don't (expletive) land, I will (expletive) kill everybody on this (expletive) plane!" she yelled.

After getting caught smoking in an airplane lavatory, a 24-year-old OR woman became unruly, threatening to kill everyone else on board. Witnesses say that's when she hit a flight attendant and had to be physically restrained by passengers and crew. "I will kill everybody on this plane!"

The Oregon resident told CBS13 she didn't know why she threatened to kill others on board the plane, stating, "It was not me".

Southwest Flight 2943 was between Portland and Sacramento when a woman, identified as 24-year-old Valerie Curbello, attempted to smoke in the airplane bathroom and tamper with the smoke detector to avoid being caught, according to airline officials.

Meanwhile, the airline said, pilots called in an emergency and landed in Sacramento, somehow more or less on schedule.

"Our reports from Flight Attendants indicate a Customer violated federal laws by both smoking onboard an aircraft and by tampering with a smoke detector in an aircraft restroom", Southwest said in a statement to KOIN.

The TV quoted a passenger as saying that the woman was removed from the plane's bathroom when people discovered she was smoking inside.

Toward the end of the clip, a man can be seen charging the woman and forcing her back into her seat as she continues her unruly behavior.

Southwest Airlines did not confirm those details. "The flight carried 136 Customers and a Crew of five". "Our crew requested law enforcement meet the flight and they took over from there".
