Pacers to host 2021 NBA All-Star Game

IN is the latest city to be awarded a future NBA All-Star Game, that's according to a report Wednesday from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

National Basketball Association commissioner Adam Silver announced the 2021 game was headed to Indianapolis in a news conference there Wednesday.

An official announcement is expected later Wednesday, according to the report. In fact, the last time they did was way back in 1985, and it was at the Hoosier Dome. Indiana Pacers owner Herb Simon, Indianapolis mayor Joe Hogsett, and Governer Eric Holcomb are expected to be in attendance. It most recently held the All-Star Game in 2011.

"Cleveland is a great basketball city with some of the NBA's most passionate fans and we look forward to holding our week of NBA All-Star events in Cleveland in the near future", Tatum said in a released statement.

The payday would likely dwarf the $1 million Horn received for his first title defence. The third proved even tighter as the referee urged both fighters to keep things clean.

The Pacers will play host to the 2021 NBA All-Star Game, which will be held in their home arena, Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The 2019 All-Star Game will be in Charlotte, while the 2020 festivities will be in Chicago.

Leading up to the 2021 edition, the 2018 All-Star Game will take place in Los Angeles.

IN delivered their bid to host the All-Star Game in style as well, as they made Larry Bird cram his tall frame into an Indy Car and drive five blocks down Fifth Avenue in NY to deliver the city's application directly to the NBA Commissioner back in April this year.
