The device will go on sale on 14 December at midnight at the OnePlus Store (online) and on Amazon India.

The new OnePlus 5T come with some minor design changes when compared to the original OnePlus 5T that was launched in India last month, and comes at a starting price of Rs 32,999. On the software front, there is a customized red, white and black theme with a set of 10 exclusive Star Wars wallpapers adapted to the new AMOLED immersive screen and a special Kylo Ren phone case along with a special surprise for Star Wars fans packed in an exquisitely designed gift box as a part of the complete offering. Red is, after all, the color of Star Wars traditionally, similar to the alert slider, which has been the long standing feature of OnePlus devices. It's the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition! The phone features a white back panel that houses a Star Wars logo on it, a red Alert Slider and a bunch of preloaded wallpapers and customisations. This limited edition OnePlus 5T - as the name suggests, is especially dedicated to all the Star Wars nerds out there.

Fans of OnePlus that are waiting for the 5T to arrive in Malaysia will not need to wait very much longer as DirectD has announced on their Facebook page that they are now accepting pre-orders for the phone.

The rest of the hardware remains unchanged with a Snapdragon 835 processor that comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with 64GB or 128GB of storage respectively. The phone is backed by a 3300mAh battery. The smartphone can be unlocked using the rear-facing fingerprint sensor and super fast Face Unlock. This makes the price Rs 1000 more expensive than the regular model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. All around the display is the polished metal edge that unlike the OnePlus 5T exposes the metal below without any colouring, making it shine brilliantly.

Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 5T comes with dual cameras setup at the rear, wherein the primary camera includes a 16-megapixel sensor, while the secondary camera comes with a 20-megapixel sensor.

OnePlus Global Marketing Head Kyle Kiang also announced to open the second OnePlus experience store in New Delhi in 2018, first being in Bengaluru.
