Debra Messing calls out E! for failing to pay employees equally

Women on the Globes carpet are wearing black this evening in solidarity with victims of sexual harassment and assault, and when asked by E!'s Giuliana Rancic to explain her black outfit, Messing did not hold back.

But the Golden Globes gender equality campaign didn't stop at all-black clothing.

Catt Sadler, a former host of E! show Daily Pop, quit last month after finding out her male co-host Jason Kennedy made almost twice as much money as she did.

Rancic didn't specifically reply to the Sadler, 43, comment, but she did agree to the Time's Up message and later told Messing: "Thank you for using your voice". "Time is up, we want diversity, we want intersectional gender parity".

Catt Sadler, who quit "E!" News' Catt Sadler quitting her job, and saying it was because Jason Kennedy made almost double her salary - despite both Catt and Jason starting at E! in the same year, and Catt doing two E! shows.
