The judge severely criticized prosecutors for willfully violating the due process rights of the defendants, including failing to properly turn over evidence to their lawyer.

Just a few weeks ago, Navarro ruled a mistrial in the Bundy case.

Judge Gloria Navarro had declared a mistrial in the case, held in Las Vegas, in December.

In response to the dismissal, Mike Ford, Nevada's former deputy state director of the Bureau of Land Management, said in an email: "Regrettably, there is culpability to be shared, but numerous good people of the BLM, and others, will now be painted with the same brush of bad behavior based upon the lack of common sense, failed leadership, and irresponsible actions of a few perpetrated by Special Agent Dan Love".

Federal judge in Nevada throws out charges...

Back in November federal whistleblower Special Agent Larry Wooten blew the case wide open with a memo to the Asst. The attorney, whose family has been ranching cattle for four generations in Nevada, added: "It's going to be interesting to see what the U.S. Attorney's Office does at this point". "In the leaked memo, Wooten said he "routinely observed ... a widespread pattern of bad judgment, lack of discipline, incredible bias, unprofessionalism and misconduct" among agents involved in the 2014 standoff".

The government demanded that he pay a million dollars for having illegally used federal land for cattle grazing, which was rejected by the rancher, who claimed that his family had owned that land since the end of the 19th century.

The dispute with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management led to a standoff with federal authorities in April 2014 near Bunkerville, Nev.

The four defendants were charged with threatening a federal officer, carrying and using a firearm and engaging in conspiracy - felony counts that could send them to prison for decades.
