Alabama Crimson Tide receiver Calvin Ridley will enter NFL Draft

Now the running back, on the heels of Alabama's fifth national title under head coach Nick Saban, is forgoing his senior season with the Crimson Tide.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com first reported Harris' return to the Crimson Tide, which defeated Georgia on Monday night for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley will forego his senior year and enter the 2018 National Football League draft, he announced on Twitter. Having been thoroughly prepared for that next step, I am truly ready, because in the beginning, I chose THE RIGHT SCHOOL. He finishes his career with the rolling tide with 224 catches, 2,781 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also caught 17 passes for 109 yards.

The Coconut Creek, Fl. native arrived at Alabama in 2015 and actually had his most productive collegiate year during his freshman campaign, hauling in 89 receptions for 1,045 yards and seven scores. Kiper ranks Harris as the No. 5 draft-eligible running back.

Ridley, who many believe is the top wide receiver prospect in this year's draft class, announced his decision with a statement on social media.

Scarbrough has dealt with a number of injuries during his career, which has seen him rush for 1,512 yards in three seasons.

As expected, Calvin Ridley is NFL-bound.
