Assassin's Creed Origins gets free quest as Trials of the Gods begins

New content is on its way to Assassin's Creed: Origins this January.

The Hidden Ones is the first DLC expansion for Ubisoft's latest Assassin's Creed game and is due to launch this month. This New Game+ or New Game Plus mode will let players start the game all over again with their old save files, which they used to finish the main story once.

It should also be noted that Ubisoft's third big title for the year, one that has not yet officially been announced, has also been delayed by a full year.it has been pushed forward to an indefinite date during the 2019-2020 fiscal year. Items from the Gladiator and Wacky packs, as well as the Nightmare and First Civilization packs will be added to the Heka chest items pool. "We are now investigating the possibility of implementing this option in a future title update".

Alongside the paid DLC, a few free items will be released, most notably a new quest meant to set up the expansion.

The update will also enable you to sell outfits at weaver shops, while The Hidden Ones DLC will also add an "all-new vast story" and an increase to the game's level cap from 40 to 45.

Over on Assassin's Creed's official website, Ubisoft detailed what players can expect from Origins in January starting with a title update. There's a also a couple of game updates. Upcoming updates to the In-game Store and Ubisoft Club include the Almighty Pack on January 16 and For Honor Pack on January 30, as well as the Warden's Oath Outfit coming to the Ubisoft Club on January 30.
