Out of the Premier League title race, eliminated from the FA Cup, competing in the Europa League and with two of the club's star players desperate to leave the Gunners, it's been a rough few months for Wenger and his 22-year spell at Arsenal's helm could well be brought to an end if fans criticism continues to intensify.

Second-tier Bristol do not have the necessary set-up to install the VAR for the second leg of the tie in two weeks' time. In this case we have reached the semi-final and our task is to try to reach the final and then to try to win this trophy.

"You have to accept as well when you play so many games, and Sanchez plays every game, that sometimes a breather in the middle of the season helps them a little bit".

London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal will renew hostilities when they meet in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final on Wednesday night.

While Arsenal were well below their best once again, in contrast to their surrender in Nottingham, the Frenchman will be encouraged that they showed enough spirit to keep Chelsea at bay.

"If we win at Stamford Bridge we can go to the Emirates in a good position".

Heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, Alexis Sanchez was left on the bench and German playmaker Mesut Ozil missed out with a knee injury.

After a quiet start to the half, the visitors had a chance to break the deadlock when Alexandre Lacazette broke through on goal, however the striker sliced his effort horribly wide. He fumbled it but grabbed the ball back before Alvaro Morata could pounce.

Andreas Christensen fared no better after the interval when the Chelsea defender dived to head over from inside the six-yard box.

Wenger's response was to send on Sanchez for the ineffective Lacazette with 25 minutes left, yet within seconds Moses nearly broke the deadlock when his goal-bound shot was deflected over by Shkodran Mustafi.
