Manchester United were in the hunt to sign Lucas in 2012 before Sir Alex Ferguson lost out to PSG in the race to sign the promising South American winger.

The French club have already sold the likes of Aurier, Matuidi, Jean-Kévin Augustin and Sabaly and now they want to offload Lucas Moura on permanent basis.

The crucial line of the article written by Juliano Costa and Leonardo Lourenço is that: "Behind the scenes in Sao Paulo, the information circulating is that the Brazilian could be on his way to the English club for €25 million".

Lucas has fallen behind world record signing Neymar and loan signing Kylian Mbappe in the pecking order at the Ligue 1 giants in the current campaign.

PSG are open to offloading the Brazilian, who has not started a single Ligue 1 game yet this season, and now Nantes are trying to convince the player that he is better off staying in France.

Saved by a snore': 'Dead' man rescued in morgue as autopsy begins
A PRISONER who was pronounced dead woke up and started wheezing as doctors prepared to cut him open for an autopsy . He may have missed taking his medicine in the past few weeks due to the unpredictability of prison, the family said.

Moura's career has stalled at PSG after five years with the team, and United are desperate to add creative verve to their wide positions.

If a move to Old Trafford were to materialise, it could well take place this month.

"[Juventus president Andrea] Agnelli is a good friend but I can tell you that Dybala, at the moment, is not the key to PSG's future".

This news comes just days after it was reported that Moura is only interested in Manchester United, despite interest from a number of other clubs, according to Téléfoot.

United have plenty of attacking support in Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, but they need an effective No. 10 in the squad.
