Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze On Switch

On Nintendo Direct this morning, Nintendo announced that another game for Wii U will be taken to Nintendo Switch.

The game features pretty much everything that you'd expect it to feature, being an nearly direct port from the Wii U version, but with one cool addition. Funky Kong can double jump, hover, perform infinite rolls and even perform infinite underwater corkscrews.

Tropical Freeze is jumping onto Nintendo Switch later this year, the company confirmed earlier today. He can even survive spikes with his trusty surfboard. The game will run at 1080p in TV mode, and feature single Joy-Con split-screen local multiplayer as well. This new mode will make the game much more accessible to a younger audience. More information on the game will likely be coming soon, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
