Kerrigan suffered a severe bruise above her right knee, forcing her out of the USA championships. Still, "I, Tonya" is an award-winning film with big stars, glowing reviews and "Oscar buzz", so of course I had to see it, even if the story is all too familiar.

The fireworks started right away, with Morgan interrupting Harding as she attempted to explain her present-day work as an advocate for those who have been abused. "I don't know if it's because you're so exhausted when you're filming you're nearly delusional".

"I knew that something was up", Harding said.

"I did, however, overhear them talking about stuff, where, 'Well, maybe we should take somebody out so we can make sure she gets on the team.' And I remember telling them, I go, 'What the hell are you talking about?"

In an interview with ABC News" Amy Robach for the two-hour special Truth and Lies: "The Tonya Harding Story, which aired Thursday night, Harding claims she was innocent of planning to attack Kerrigan. "With my husband and my son, I get my second chance in life to be loved and be happy", Harding said.

The biopic presents Harding not as the villain in the infamous Kerrigan kneecapping attack, but instead as the victim of an abusive mother and husband, Jeff Gillooly, whom the film blames entirely for the attack. See what she said in the video below. She was also ordered to surrender her membership to the United States Figure Skating Association, who would end up barring her for life.

After the moment went viral, Fifth Harmony explained their interpretation of the performance on " Good Morning America ". In his interview, John revealed that he was a fan of the former Fifth Harmony singer and admired her music.

"It was really fun", she said of her time at the championships in San Jose, California.

In terms of winners and losers, Kerrigan still came out on top, but Harding's raw talent and drive deserved to be recognized in a great film since they're not likely to in any other way.

The U.S. Olympic Committee reportedly hopes Harding will withdraw from the team before the Winter Games at Lellehammer, Norway.

"I really have nothing to say about it". Here's a man whom she credited with her involvement in a movie that has improved her life and changed the way people view her for the better.

She still looks strong as she sails around the rink, but for the first American skater to do a triple axel, her glory days are most likely behind her. But by the time the Olympics happened in Lillehammer, Kerrigan recovered and won the silver medal.

"I've been busy. I was at the national [figure skating] championships this week so I didn't watch the Golden Globes".
