Thousands of fans pay tribute to Dolores O'Riordan in Limerick

The Cranberries' frontwoman's body is now in repose at St Joseph's Church in Limerick city, with fans invited to say goodbye to the star from 12.30pm to 4pm.

The Cranberries lead singer Dolores O'Riordan has died suddenly at the age of 46. Her family is handsome.

This afternoon, her coffin was carried into Saint Joseph's Church in Limerick.

Coroner's officer Stephen Earl said O'Riordan was found unresponsive in her hotel room and was declared dead at the scene by ambulance workers.

Speaking afterwards he said: "It was a very moving to be here, to see the generosity of Dolores' mother Eileen and other family members not alone in providing this opportunity ahead of the funeral for the public to pay their respects but for being there also".

Her funeral mass will take place at 11.30am on Tuesday in St Ailbe's.

"I am lost. I miss her so much".

Thousands have gathered in Limerick to remember the life of the Cranberries frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan, who died last week in London.

Hundreds of Munster Rugby fans also arrived at the church to pay their respects after a game was postponed.

The coroner overseeing the case, Shirley Radcliffe, noted that hearing will resume on April. 3, the date for a full inquest.

O'Riordan's remains will be reposed at Cross' Funeral Home in Ballyneety tomorrow (January 22), before her funeral mass takes place on Tuesday.

Police say they don't consider the death suspicious.

He added: "A post-mortem has now been carried out and the court is awaiting results of various tests that have been commissioned".
