When you set an alarm on any Google Assistant enabled device, the default alarm tone was used when the alarm was triggered.

The Google Assistant is all about you.

To activate the feature, a user needs to say, "Hey Google, set an alarm for 6 AM that plays [insert favorite musician]" to the device.

Another new feature will let users play all the songs that they have purchased or uploaded to their music library.

You can link a music service by going by opening the Google Home app and from the Google Assistant menu select Music.

Voice assistants are all the rage right now - Amazon's Alexa and Google's Assistant are popping up in every connected gadget you can think of, from thermostats to refrigerators to headphones. Once you let it know, the alarm is set, and you'll hear the requested song at the set time.

The new features should become available for users around the globe soon, although Google didn't give a specific timeline.

This news originally showed up in the updated Google Home support page around a week ago, but officially announced the feature today in a blog post. You don't have to open an app to set the mood or to turn lights on and off, but you can just use voice commands. Also, it must be noted that the assistant pulls the music from the user's account settings. This means you can set an alarm and wake up to your favourite song, playlist or radio station, says Google.

Another feature is the ability to help you learn about your favorite TV shows and it can now help you keep up with the TV shows that you are following. The music-powered alarms feature is similar to what had in December a year ago.

For example, to search for "The Flash", users just required to say like "Hey Google, when does The Flash air next" or "Hey Google, what channel airs The Flash". And same for your roommate or partner.
