'Solo: A Star Wars Story' trailer: Han, Chewie take to skies

The first-look trailer for "Solo: A Star Wars Story" was launched on Sunday's Super Bowl LII.

Catch a first glimpse of Glover's Star Wars role in the new trailer below.

Next is a shot of the Millennium Falcon with Han Solo getting perhaps his first ever look at the spacecraft.

For some of you die-hard old school fans, this version of Han Solo will probably make you bristle and take to social media to claim Alden Ehrenreich isn't your Han Solo.

". The film will also offer up another fan favorite, Lando Calrissian, who was played by Billy Dee Williams in "The Empire Strikes Back", but is now depicted by Donald Glover. Halfway through filming, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy fired original directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord (The Lego Movie) over creative differences.

The new clip also showed a lot more of Emilia Clarke's character, Qi'ra, who seems to have a close relationship with Solo.

If you were still hankering for more of Solo: A Star Wars Story after yesterday's short Super Bowl TV spot, you're in luck - LucasFilm has released a second, longer teaser trailer for the upcoming anthology film. The script was written by the father-and-son team of Lawrence and Jon Kasdan. With Star Wars movies dropping seemingly every year now, we've gotten used to a certain dark look and pacing, and nothing appears like it's going to drop off with "Solo". American Graffiti's highlight on fast cars, directed by George Lucas himself, seems to have influenced Howard in his rendition of a Star Wars vehicle chase.
