Directed by Ryan Coogler, "Black Panther" is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and stars a predominately black cast including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o and Daniel Kaluuya.

Wakanda happens to have a place where the living and the dead can communicate freely. "They have a history but she is a reliable ear for him". And according to Variety, a strong box office showing for Black Panther, which cost almost $200 million to produce, would send a clear message to Hollywood that there's tremendous opportunity to be found in making more movies targeting diverse audiences and featuring Black casts.
