Colts plan to interview Leslie Frazier for head coaching job

It's hard to imagine another owner reaching out to McDaniels about a head-coaching job anytime soon, if ever.

"Can you just tell us about..." the reporter began before McDaniels replied, "No, I'm not going to do any comments".

Ballard could be talking about anything other than the football field, seeing as the Patriots have owned the Colts for almost a decade.

McDaniels' situation is similar to that of Bill Belichick - who was hired to be head coach of the New York Jets for the 2000 season. Ballard said he didn't want an explanation for the decision saying, "I live in a black and white world". He went 21-32-1 in four seasons as Minnesota Vikings coach. Frazier might not be the most exciting candidate given his record as Vikings head coach, but he makes sense for his experience and defensive background. "We're playing on an indoor surface. That's how this defense is built".

Last two Islamic State 'Beatles' fighters captured
The lead executioner in the "Beatles" cell, Mohammed Emwazi , known as " Jihadi John ", was killed by a US drone strike in 2015. Their capture was first reported by the New York Times , who noted that American officials had wanted to keep the news secret.

Much has been said on either side with the Colts claiming the "rivalry" is back on but in reality, New England retaining McDaniels has nothing at all to do with Indy. Although McDaniels never signed his contract with Indianapolis, his stint was even shorter. They had a plane going to pick you up to bring you to the press conference the next morning.

"There's a lot of good coaches out there", Ballard said. "But having assistant coaches leave jobs to go with you then leave them out to dry is indefensible". All we know right now is that McDaniels will be calling plays for Brady and New England's offense, and that Belichick will still be there as the game's best head coach. NFL Network reported the Colts also have submitted a request to interview Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.

Josh McDaniels made a decision to stay in New England on Tuesday despite reaching an agreement with the Indianapolis Colts to be their next head coach. The Colts had every right to be upset after McDaniels had initially agreed in principle to join them in the offseason.

Alex Marvez can be heard from 7 11 p.m. ET Thursday and 5 8 p.m. ET Saturday on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
