However despite the unbelievable victory, one has to wonder what's next for Yoel Romero.

Watch the live weigh-in stream for UFC 221: Romero vs. Rockhold at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT. "I happened to work really fast to get all this done for this fight, it messed up a little bit my plans for the weight cut". He came close, tipping the scale at 187.7 pounds on his second attempt, but he couldn't quite make it to 185 pounds in time.

Romero, who lost to Whittaker at UFC 213 in July in an interim middleweight title fight, had the look of a champion on Saturday, even though he didn't feel well before the fight as a result of his weight-cutting issues.

Those things can be sorted out in the future, though.

Good lord - "The Soldier of God", ladies and gentleman. On shaky legs, Blaydes pressed forward and drove through a takedown, riding out the rest of the round in dominant position on the canvas.

Despite missing weight, Romero (13-2), a two-time Olympic freestyle wrestler who won silver at the Sydney Games in 2000, posed a big threat to Rockhold's goal of gaining the title.

This is the kind of performance both Blaydes and the UFC needed. Stunned, Rockhold looked to clinch up but Romero simply began obliterating his midsection with hooks.

Blaydes has serious upside and he's showing tremendous growth with each appearance.

Twenty-four-year-old heavyweight Tai Tuivasa led the way with a dominant display of power punching as he battered gritty Frenchman Cyril Asker to a first-round TKO, then celebrated by drinking a beer from a fan's shoe.

But the 26-year old American played it wisely and changed things up, taking Hunt down to the canvas, where the two spent most of the remainder of the fight as Blaydes superior fitness eventually told, the judges scoring it 30-26, 30-26 and 29-27 in the USA fighter's favour.
