Dakota Meyer and Bristol Palin call it quits

Rival US Weekly noted: "The news comes almost nine months after Sarah Palin's oldest daughter, 27, and the Medal of Honor recipient, 29, welcomed their second child together, a baby girl named Atlee Bay".

The couple married in June 2016 and have two young daughters together.

Bristol Palin's husband of less than two years has filed for divorce, according to People and TMZ.

Meyer, a former U.S. Marine sergeant who served in Afghanistan and was awarded the Medal of Honor, has also blocked Palin on social media, a source told People.

Besides the family holiday photo, the last time Dakota posted a pic with his wife was for her birthday in October, and at the time everything seemed okay.

Bristol posted a mirror selfie with her son, Tripp, on December 7, 2017, where she was without her wedding ring. Meanwhile, Bristol posted some family photos with him in November. The publication recovered the court documents despite Meyer's attempt to keep a low-profile using his and Palin's initials in the paperwork filed in a Travis County court in Texas.

When Bristol and Dakota married they announced in a statement [via Entertainment Tonight], "We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!" Just two months later, Sarah admitted that her daughter's wedding had been called off.
