NBC Sports Digital delivered an average minute audience of 309,000 Sunday - the best prime-time number yet for PyeongChang. ABC is at 5.91 million and Fox is at 5.89 million.

Mark Lazarus, chairman of NBC Broadcasting and Sports, said the network expected a decline in viewership and calibrated its audience promises accordingly. That kind of live viewership is mostly unheard of today.

ABC's "World News Tonight with David Muir" was the most-watched network nightly newscast for the 11th consecutive week and 22nd of past 23, averaging 9.405 million viewers.

NBC coverage dipped ever-so-slightly from Wednesday's overnight ratings, earning another 2018 low with an early 13.0 rating among households.
