A senior Obama administration official has been quoted as saying the administration "choked" when dealing with Russian Federation. "The Russian 'hoax" was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia - it never did!"

President Trump's national security adviser has insisted the latest Federal Bureau of Investigation charges against Russians to be an unquestionable proof of Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election.

President Trump seized on Goldman's tweets over the weekend, using them as an opportunity to lash out at the media.

Referring to the indictment of 13 Russians announced Friday, McMaster says "with the Federal Bureau of Investigation indictment, the evidence is now incontrovertible" of Russia cyber-meddling. Trump tweeted Friday after the indictment became public.

Trump's tweets were his latest attack on Obama for what he says was a failure to adequately address concerns about Russian meddling, despite efforts by the US intelligence community to investigate the plot in the months prior to the election.

The Kremlin on Monday insisted there was no indication of Russian government involvement in meddling in U.S. elections after Washington indicted 13 Russians for alleged covert efforts to sway voters.

Kislyak said: "I have never done anything of this sort".

In October 2016, Obama addressed Trump's frequent claims that the election was or would be rigged against him, essentially telling him to stop complaining. "Get smart America!" Trump tweeted Sunday, according to Yahoo News.

President Trump on Friday defended his presidential campaign through his Twitter handle saying that there was no crime committed by his campaign team. Trump was continuing his efforts to pin Russian collusion on the Democrats and their nominee Hillary Clinton.

Trump added that the Russians began their anti-American campaign way back in 2014long before he made the announcement that he was running for the office of president of the United States. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov questioned the evidence.

Recognizing the scope of the Russians' influence in our domestic affairs can not be ignored - especially by President Trump, who must ensure the FBI and other federal agencies have the necessary tools to expose these assaults on our democracy.

The postcard verification is Facebook's latest effort to respond to criticism from lawmakers, security experts and election integrity watchdog groups that it and other social media companies failed to detect and later responded slowly to Russia's use of their platforms to spread divisive political content, including disinformation, during the 2016 US presidential election. Trump, in comparison, still has not imposed sanctions created to punish election meddling by Moscow. Military sales represent a considerable slice of Russia's trade with the world, and Trump has moved to loosen restrictions on the sale of USA military equipment.

Yet he has repeatedly denied that Russian Federation was behind any meddling, going so far in November as to suggest that he believed President Vladimir V Putin's denials of interference over the conclusions of American intelligence agencies.

But in other cases, Trump has seemed more willing to confront Russian Federation and its allies.

President Donald Trump is undercutting a top aide again - this time national security adviser Gen. H.R. McMaster.

He also said that he has been tougher on Russian Federation than Obama.
