Star Wars: The Last Jedi available digitally starting March 13

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" arrives on digital platforms March 13 with the Blu-ray to follow two weeks later on March 27.

Director Rian Johnson, who also signs the script, takes fans on an intimate journey in the making of the film, explaining their interpretation of the Force, detailing the meticulous process of Supreme Leader Snoke's creation and deconstructing action scenes such as the epic space battle and the final confrontation.

Much hoopla has been made over scenes and entire subplots that appeared in the trailer only to be cut from the movie, and now we can finally get a glimpse of them. (Movies Anywhere is a video service backed by multiple Hollywood studios, including Disney, that collects customers' virtual movie collections from across four sellers: Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes and Vudu.) It's unclear how many digital stores will offer The Last Jedi in 4K.

The rest of the bonus offerings on the Blu-ray include breakdowns of Snoke's motion-capture (with sequences of Andy Serkis performing on set), the opening space battle, and the climactic showdown on the salty plains of Crait.

As announced on, Star Wars: The Last Jedi first comes out on Digital HD on March 13th, 2018.

As a reminder, the physical copies of Star Wars: The Last Jedi will come with a digital copy of the movie as a bonus, and usually at a price similar to buying the movie digitally on its own. As mentioned before, audio on the 4K Ultra HD will be 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, while the Blu-ray will feature 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
