Early Voting, Vote By Mail Available For General Election

On the first day of early voting four years ago, only 3,356 Democratic ballots had been cast.

Early voting will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 20 and polling stations throughout Lubbock County will be open for any registered voter to submit a ballot.

"These numbers are similar to those from 2016, and Texans voted at that time by a significant margin to keep our state red", Dickey said in a prepared statement. The Republican Party did not file a write-in candidate for the primary election. Basically, you're voting for who the real candidate will be. Voting hours will be the same at all voting locations.

Once you have your ID all sorted out, starting Tuesday, you can cast your ballot at any of your county's early voting locations.

Elaine Wiant, the president of the League of Women Voters in Texas, said that is an easy question to answer.
