Critics and audiences pointed two thumbs straight up. But when a formidable enemy returns, T'Challa must gather his strength as Black Panther to defeat this foe, or risk putting Wakanda and the world at large in danger.

Actor Chadwick Boseman bought out a screening of his new superhero movie Black Panther in his SC hometown as a treat for underprivileged youths.

"So in the film it is more than hinted at that they're a couple, but there is a scene directly after Killmonger takes the throne where you hear both characters articulate their point of view as to why they should or shouldn't follow this man and it's one of the most well-acted scenes I've ever been a part of".

Chadwick, who plays King T'Challa, aka Black Panther, in the film, adds that the history of African-Americans is just not important for the people from the diaspora - it important for our nation. The Afrocentric movie touches on ideas of colonialism and the reverberations of slavery.

AT&T also said it plans to virtualize 75 percent of its network by 2020, after reaching its 2017 goal of 55 percent. But he said many of 5G's most compelling uses, such as autonomous cars, are still years in the future.

Netanyahu Warns Iran: 'Do Not Test Israel's Resolve'
He held up a piece of what he said was an Iranian drone after its incursion into Israeli airspace earlier this month. McMaster said. "We have no interest in escalating the situation but if it continues the intensity will only grow".

Marvel Studios' Black Panther opened this past weekend with a record-breaking $201 million. Black Panther hitting the bull's eye was kind of expected, given the unravelling of this new superhero's story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. And though fans might wish Michael B. Jordan's character could stick around, Coogler said to the Empire Film Podcast that wasn't in the cards. "Celebrate diversity, and hopefully if this does well, then you'll see more movies like this", Barnes said.

"Black Panther" is also the biggest global debut for a predominantly black cast.

Since the release of the film, renewed calls from attorneys, families and civil rights leaders have demanded for the release of more than a dozen incarcerated members of the Black Panther Party, The Guardian reported.

After "Captain America", Black Panther goes home to his country, Wakanda, and takes on his role as King T'Chaka. Coogler himself has lightly dodged Black Panther 2 questions in interviews, but it does seem likely that he would hop back in the director's chair for a second round (after some fierce negotiations, of course, now that Panther is a box-office juggernaut). Not only did it have their biggest opening weekend totals for any movie that isn't The Avengers, but that success is a milestone of representation for people of color that the Hollywood machine would do well to remember.
