Now, just hours before the show is about to begin, the singer has reportedly cancelled her appearance entirely.

A source revealed to The Sun: "Ariana desperately wanted to come, she was so ill but she still wanted to get on the plane".

'The whole industry wants to come together to pay their respects to the victims.

The insider added: 'The effects of that bad night resonated far and wide in the music industry and it's only right everyone comes together to pay their respects'.

The American pop star was due to take to the stage at the ceremony as part of a tribute for the victims of the attack that took place at her concert in May a year ago.

Ariana has met with numerous families of the victims of the attack, with a surprise appearance at the event set to serve as another heartfelt tribute to those that died.
