The Windows version of Final Fantasy XV was announced at Gamescom 2017, with the game's director saying that development on PC was "100 times" easier than the console versions. And it just so happens that the one for Steam features a Half-Life pack which includes a Gordon Freeman costume, his glasses and crowbar.

Players who purchase the Windows Edition before May 5, 2018 will gain access to a series of costumes and items inspired by Half Life's Gordon Freeman.

If you're itching to get your hands on Final Fantasy XV's fancy PC version ahead of its March 6 release, Square Enix has you covered. It's not just Noctis, but your character from the Comrades expansion too. Most notably, there will be cross-platform functionality between the PC version and the Xbox One version, which will allow players to transfer their save data from PC to the Xbox One (no word on if it works in reverse yet) and play Comrades with one another once the feature arrives in a future update.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is launching in a week, and it's going to come to Steam with some pretty surprising bonuses. Square Enix has revealed that the playable demo for the Windows Edition will be available to download on February 26th, making it the flawless opportunity to test how the game runs on your set up.

Players who pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store will receive the bonus "FFXV Powerup Pack", containing Dodanuki, a sleek sword created by a legendary bladesmith that reduces enemy defense with each slash.

Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
