Wait, McDonald's is Releasing a Szechuan Sauce Podcast Now?

The company severely underestimated the demand for the sauce, resulting in those McDonald's restaurants that received supply running out in an incredibly short amount of time, and this in turn led to a huge backlash from Rick & Morty fans.

"We did not anticipate the overnight crowds, the cross-state travel and the unbelievable curiosity, passion and energy fans showed", McDonald's said.

McDonald's knows how dark things can get when locations don't have enough sauce to meet customers' demand - specifically, the demands of "Rick and Morty" fans.

After last fall's Szechuan sauce debacle, McDonald's promised to bring back the condiment on a much larger scale.

"The folks in the Bay Area will definitely be able to get their hands on it", a McDonald's brand reputation manager said. And perhaps more importantly: they will reveal how to get more sauce. And how will the sauce be made available again?
