Pachulia will not be punished for controversial fall on Westbrook

Nobody touched him, he fell over my leg, tried to hurt me.

And his teammate, Paul George, agrees with Russ. Nobody pushed him. He aimed his fall ... A lot of big guys are.

As Westbrook is on the ground, Pachulia falls onto Westbrook after appearing to fall untouched.

Pachulia faced similar accusations during last season's playoffs, when Spurs coach Gregg Popovich ripped the 15-year veteran after an incident in which Kawhi Leonard suffered a series-ending sprained ankle as Pachulia challenged his shot. Don't lie, don't lie, you saw the instant replay four times.

After an emotional game, Russell Westbrook told reporters that he thought there was no doubt that Zaza intentionally came down on his leg in what he called a dirty play by a dirty player. "So don't ask me if it was intentional". "That's not the case". "That's Zaza making a Zaza play".

But an alternative angle shows that it probably was accidental as Warriors guard Nick Young's foot hooked the back of his leg before he tumbled.

Area health officials hope 'worst is behind us' for hard-hitting flu season
Add Flu Season as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Flu Season news, video, and analysis from ABC News. Last week, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported the second pediatric flu death this season.

What is just as clear is that Pachulia, based on his reputation, probably won't be given the benefit of the doubt around the National Basketball Association.

"I don't think Zaza is trying to hurt anybody".

"I watched the tape. I seen Nick's foot get caught in Zaza's leg".

"I don't think Zaza is trying to hurt anybody", Durant said.

"I think this latest incident with Westbrook looked dirtier than the closeout on Kawhi, but Zaza is relatively uncoordinated for an National Basketball Association player and it's hard to determine intent when a 6′ 11" 270-pound man falls to the floor. "It was an unfortunate play, and I'm glad Russ didn't get hurt".

It's still unclear whether the league will review the incident but Pachulia will certainly be on thin ice with officials moving forward.
