Be a virtual guest: Google Maps adds Disney Parks to Street View

Spring Break is coming up for a lot of area students.

You can now step inside the wonderful worlds of Disney using Google Maps, as 11 Disney theme parks are now available to be explored via Google Maps.

Google offers a gallery of highlighted locations here, but if you search for any park on Google Maps and hold down on the Street View button (the orange guy in the bottom-right corner of the web app), you can navigate around yourself.

People can virtually visit the tourist destinations from anywhere.

The fact that Street View also exists in VR means you can strap on a headset and pretend you're actually there in person, but without all the expense and effort involved.

You can now take a self-guided tour of Disney World and Disneyland-all while avoiding long lines. It would be hilarious if someone went on a roller coaster or dark ride while wearing the giant Street View backpack.

The new update covers more Disney parks including Disney California Adventure, Disneyland, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom at WDW Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Pandora - The World of Avatar, Epcot, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Just make sure you are balancing your time.between the real world and pretend.
