LeBron James says he has no list of potential destinations

LeBron James is in his 15th season with the National Basketball Association at 33 years-old, but he made a rather bold statement saying his game is at "an all-time high".

Cleveland opened their trip with a 113-108 win over the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday thanks to a fourth-quarter explosion from James, who scored 39 points and dished out 10 assists in the win.

Amid the myriad of rumors surrounding LeBron James' expected departure after this summer, comes a reality check, which suggest teams like the Los Angeles Lakers would have to pry him from the Cleveland Cavaliers' hands rather than just make him a suitable offer to come to the City of Angels. Just because of my body, my mind, the way I go out and approach the game. I'd venture to say the Sixers give him a better supporting cast than Cleveland, for what it's worth. "I'm blessed, and I never take it for granted".

Though the Lakers have won five of their last six games, they're lottery bound, and it's fair to wonder whether James, at 33, would have time to deal with the Lakers' steep learning curve.

A failure to win the title, or even make it to the finals in June, could see LeBron look for a better opportunity to secure as many rings as possible before he retires.

For context, James' 26-8-8 line last season was a first for his career. However, LeBron clearly has yet to trust these teammates in the clutch the way he trusted Kyrie Irving (LeBron was not looking to pass at the end of the Denver game), and if the Cavaliers don't build that trust they are even more vulnerable. They are now two games behind the seventh-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and half a game behind the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers.

Again, July 1 can't come soon enough. But he knows him maybe coming to LA next summer is a thing.

As expected, LeBron himself - in Los Angeles to take on the Clippers Friday and Lakers Sunday - shot down the idea of a list when speaking to the media at shootaround.

"That's probably the only thing, people talk in the locker room".

"It was ridiculous", Larry Nance Jr. said.

There have been whispers, mostly on social media, about whether LeBron James would consider the Spurs because of the mutual respect between James and [Gregg] Popovich, now the coach of the USA men's national basketball team.
