Blair Kinghorn will make his first start for Scotland on Saturday after being named in Gregor Townsend's side for their pivotal Six Nations clash against Ireland in Dublin.

Henshaw dislocated his right shoulder in the win over Italy last month, and Farrell - who replaced Henshaw for the win over Wales - tore knee ligaments in training.

Ringrose enters the clash slightly cold with just 113 minutes of rugby under his belt since Leinster's New Year's Day win over Connacht.

The 23-year-old has shaken off ankle trouble suffered in January, and his return helps ease the losses of Robbie Henshaw, Chris Farrell and Jared Payne.

His natural talent, however, is undoubted.

Tadhg Furlong and Iain Henderson also return after hamstring problems - although Henderson only to the bench, with James Ryan partnering Devin Toner at lock.

'There's always concerns about players for different reasons, and Garry's only had six games in this entire season, ' said Schmidt.

Eagles trade Torrey Smith to Panthers

Collin Sexton hits buzzer-beating floater to save Alabama in SEC Tournament
Leading by seven points with 34 seconds left, the Bulldogs allowed the Tigers to hit two consecutive 3s to close to 78-77. Alabama won the rebounding battle 44-33, points in the paint 36-22, second-chance points 11-8, and fastbreak points 6-0.

Explaining his second-row selection, Ireland coach Joe Schmidt said that his desire for "continuity" from the Wales game convinced him to retain Toner and Ryan despite Henderson's return to fitness.

'Garry's been extraordinary when he has played for us, he's done great.

"He's trained really well over the last couple of weeks, but we just feel the balance of what we might expect from Ireland, along with the potential weather conditions, means having that extra full-back in the back three is better for us this week, but with Lee on the bench, we also know we've got an excellent winger to cover".

Ireland narrowly defeated the French in Paris in Round 1, and followed it up with home victories over both Italy and Wales as they seek their first Six Nations title since 2015.

Replacements: 16-Sean Cronin, 17-Jack McGrath, 18-Andrew Porter, 19-Iain Henderson, 20-Jordi Murphy, 21-Kieran Marmion, 22-Joey Carbery, 23-Jordan Larmour.
