Neymar Yearns for Barcelona Return

A source at Barcelona told Spanish news outlet, Mundo Deportivo, that the Brazilian global regrets his decision to leave for PSG. At that time, Neymar was trying to move out of Lionel Messi's shadow.

Although our former Brazilian global, Neymar Jnr, only left the Camp Nou last summer, in a world record transfer move, to join Paris Saint-Germain, you get the impression his stay in French football won't be too long a one. It's hoped he will return to action before the domestic season is over.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is reportedly intent on sealing a move back to Barcelona, Mundo Deportivo understand.

However, reports must have surely suggested that Neymar is plotting a move back to Spain. He also didn't expect the level of Ligue 1 to be so inferior to La Liga.

Neymar reportedly sent messages to Barca players he considers close friends stating that he could envisage a return to the Camp Nou in 2019. Since moving to the city of lights, Neymar is being heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

"I don't know where that has come from", Valverde told reporters on Friday.

The speculation over Neymar's future comes with the Brazil global now out injured.
