Wondering why you haven't seen Cameron Diaz on the big screen lately?

Whilst at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, actress Selma Blair, who starred in the film The Sweetest Thing with Cameron, told The Daily Mail that her good friend has made a decision to retire from acting! "Guys please, I was making a joke in an interview. CAMERON DIAZ is NOT retiring from ANYTHING", Blair tweeted Monday afternoon. So if you were a fan of seeing Diaz and Daniel Day-Lewis in Gangs of NY, you can pretty much forget about ever seeing them together in a film again.

"We were reminiscing about the film", Selma explains.

Another anonymous source said Diaz is "happy, in love, and wants to make the most of her freedom and free time". Diaz's other 2014 projects Sex Tape and The Other Woman also performed well, hauling in well over $100 million each worldwide on budgets of $40 million.

So how about that sequel now? Blair was doing an interview when she was asked about a potential sequel for The Sweetest Thing, which is how she dropped the R-bomb.
