After losing in the last game of the year last season, the Bulldogs have high aspirations for this year's postseason play.

The No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners will take on the No. 7 Rhode Island Rams in the Midwest Region Round one of the NCAA Tournament March Madness on Thursday, start time at 12:15 PM ET, at PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, PA. Oklahoma vs Rhode Island live stream is on CBS stream.

The Oklahoma Sooners (18-13) have a tumultuous second half of the regular season.

Soon, Oklahoma began to fall down the standings and at one point, lost six-straight games. They utilize that experience in the tournament, get Trae Young back to his early-season form, and strengthen the worst defense in the Big 12 to make a deep run.

The Sooners, a 10 seed, will play No. 7 Rhode Island in the Round of 64. Clearly they didn't think enough of the Cowboys.

If the Orange wins its game, it would face the victor of No. 1 Mississippi State and No. 16 Nicholls in a second-round game Monday in Starkville.

Disappointed? You bet I am. They lost twice to another bubble team that missed the field in Baylor. However, the Cowboys won the head-to-head battle 2-1, another important factor, and their win in the conference tournament could reasonably have been viewed as the trump card.

But the Sooners hovered just above or below.500 much of the year. "The committee had them 16th in their [February] reveal, which is insane town". "All you had to do was watch them play and know that's not close to the 16th-best team in the country when this was done".
