Sushma Swaraj ticks off Naresh Agarwal for controversy comments on Jaya Bachchan

Giving an interesting turn to the political equations in upcoming polls to 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP tend to nullify the opposition unity by fielding three additional candidates triggering a direct contest with the lone BSP who is hoping to sail through with the support of Samajwadi Party and Congress. "He is welcome. However, his comments regarding Jaya Bachhan ji are improper and unacceptable", the external affairs minister tweeted.

Speaking about the SP, Agarwal said that the party has "lost its way" in recent times. Instead the party chose to re-nominate Ms Bachchan who also retires on April 2. Aggarwal, who joined the BJP, lashed out against SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for weighing his contribution to the Samajwadi Party against someone who "dances" and works in films. Meri koi shart par nahi aya, koi Rajya Sabka ki ticket ki maang nahi hai, " said Naresh Agrawal, on joining BJP. Because of her, the ticket was not given to me, which I did not find right.

"I have been reduced to somebody working in films". Agrawal's second Rajya Sabha term expires on April 2.

Bharatiya Janata Party's new member Naresh Agarwal has already landed in trouble within hours of joining the party for his misogynistic comments against Samajwadi Party's Jaya Bachchan.
