Marcus Rashford is confident his development will not suffer from a lack of game time after scoring twice in a 2-1 victory against Liverpool on his return to the Manchester United starting line-up.

United host their LaLiga opponents on Tuesday with the last-16 tie all square at 0-0 following a drab first leg at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Mourinho insisted the game against Sevilla was "more important" than the one just gone against Liverpool. "Liverpool is Liverpool, it is a big match, it is a match against a direct competition for the top four. He was one of the best players on the pitch so I am happy that we have him in the team and he needs to continue in this way".

The pair was reunited once more after last season's Europa League final, which Mourinho's side won, and the two took a brief moment to catch up with each other after the full-time whistle.

But sources have told ESPN FC there is hope that Anthony Martial will recover from the thigh problem that has kept him out for the last two games.

"I can imagine that if we lose against Seville on Tuesday everyone will have forgotten what we did in the last couple of weeks", he said.

Marcus Rashford: 'I'm learning most in training'
In Saturday's 2-1 win over arch-rivals Liverpool, Manchester United's Marcus Rashford eclipsed Sanchez's form. The first goal against Liverpool was just another proof of this claim.

Florida prosecutors will seek death penalty for Parkland high school shooter

Josh McCown informed he'll be the Jets' starter
In a game of musical chairs, Bradford goes from the Vikings to the Arizona Cardinals. It was a wise move to bring back McCown on a one-year, $10 million deal.

After a goalless draw in Spain in the first leg, the Reds will be wary of conceding an away goal against Vincenzo Montella's side and need the Old Trafford crowd as noisy as it was for the grudge clash with the Merseysiders.

"I am as anxious as I was in the first leg, because United have a strong physical and technical level", Montella told reporters on Monday.

I think he will again here in front of a cracking atmosphere and Roma look good value at even-money to qualify, although I can see it being a tight one. "It says nothing. In modern football you have to live day by day, week by week and match by match".

"Against Liverpool if you play bad when you have the ball you can be in trouble". There are so many positions and I think it's only goalkeeper and centre-half that I haven't played so far [for United]. He is using every minute on the pitch and off it to learn. "I don't know", the manager said.

"We played an excellent match in the first leg, we have to play that to 180 minutes now". "In training is where I'm doing most of my learning". Another key decision for Mourinho will be regarding the inclusion of an additional midfielder or go attack heavy, like on the weekend.
