Loyola-Chicago is one of the largest Catholic universities in the nation and is perhaps best known for their superfan Sister Jean, a 98-year-old nun who has served as the basketball team chaplain for almost thirty years.

With the Ramblers trailing by a point, senior swingman Donte Ingram took a pass and launched a 3-pointer that went in with less than a second remaining to win the game 64-62 for 11th-seeded Loyola against No. 6 seed Miami in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday afternoon in Dallas.

Donte Ingram picked the flawless spot for this game-winning shot.

With three seconds on the clock, Marques Townes passed to Ingram several feet past the top of the key. But the Hurricanes committed 16 turnovers and eight of the Ramblers' 26 field goals were treys, the last Ingram's game victor.

Allerik Freeman had 36 points to lead No. 9 seed North Carolina State (21-12). The Vols led 3-2 when Schofield made a 3-pointer with 16:42 left, and Wright State (25-10) went back ahead on the next possession before Jordan Bowden's layup put the Vols up for good. Myles Powell added 19 points and Angel Delgado scored 13 to help Seton Hall stay in front the entire game.

Loyola-Chicago is unsafe. And the Vols can't rest on their laurels after handling Wright State so easily if they want to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. After the game, Ingram and Sister Jean shared a celebratory hug 25 years in the making.

Devonte' Graham finished with 29 points, six rebounds and six assists as the Jayhawks downed the stubborn Quakers at Wichita, Kan. Walker hit 12 points, while Ja'Quan Newton and Dewan Huell scored 11 and Chris Lykes totaled 10.

Miami shot 51 percent, outrebounded Loyola 33-27 and led for most of the second half.

Myles Powell added 19 points and Angel Delgado scored 13 for the Pirates (22-11), who led the entire way a year after a late meltdown cost them an early exit against Arkansas.

"We feel refreshed", Boilermakers center Isaac Haas said.

The Wildcats were the No. 4 seed in the South, but Buffalo was not an easy opening game for the Wildcats.

Instead of being in a situation where the worst Loyola could do was force overtime, Miami let Ingram's last-second three-pointer seal their fate. Harris and Clark used their quickness to combine for 27 first-half points, and the Wildcats went 1 for 8 from 3-point range to trail 40-38.

Keita Bates-Diop had 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Buckeyes, who will face Gonzaga in the round of 32 on Saturday. After a slow first half that saw both teams knotted up at 28, The Ramblers played sloppy in the second half, allowing Miami to gain momentum and a seven-point lead at one point.

Josh Perkins tied the game at 64 with a long jumper, and after Greensboro's Francis Alonso forced up a miss, Gonzaga got the rebound and worked the ball to Norvell, who spotted up from the right elbow and made the 3 for the lead. But the junior split the pair of free throws, failing to completely bridge the gap. They average 72.2 points per game, but they spread that around as well.
