Winston finished with 15 points, Bridges scored 11 and Nick Ward scored 10.

"We're going to play the way we play", Boeheim said. We're moving' on... AGAIN!

Syracuse was one of the last teams selected for the NCAA Tournament, but the Orange now have won three games, previously beating Arizona State and TCU, and are headed to the Sweet 16 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Cassius Winston made two more free throws to cut the lead back to one, but Michigan State's next foul of Syracuse came with just 2.4 seconds left.

"He's a good defender and he's capable of scoring in the right situations", Boeheim said of Dolezaj.

"They're shots I know I can make and they just didn't go in", Spartans guard Joshua Langford said.

Paschal Chukwu connected on one free throw with 2.4 seconds left and the miss gave Michigan State a chance to win in dramatic fashion, but Winston couldn't make a long shot to be hailed in his hometown.

Syracuse took the lead for the first time in the second half with 4:22 left. They missed 14 straight shots to finish the game and blew a lead they had held almost the entire contest.

Arkansas and Butler primed for NCAA Tournament
The school finished tied for sixth in the Big East regular-season standings and enters having lost three of its final four games. On the defensive end, Arkansas only converted on one of its first 11 shots. " We've got to worry about Arkansas", Jordan said.

In wake of fatal helicopter crash, FAA restricts 'doors-off' flights
On Friday, the agency said they found no signs of engine failure or pre-impact mechanical problems. Only the pilot was able to escape after the helicopter hit the water, capsized and sunk.

Bridges' college career likely is ending with a performance he would like to forget.

"This is probably the saddest I've ever been in my life", Bridges said. And after a 3-point loss, players could only think about what could have been had one or two more 3-pointers gone in.

Miles Bridges could not make a shot.

Michigan State is shooting 30 percent, but has 24 offensive rebounds. We saw it Saturday night (well, early Sunday morning, technically) when Michigan's Jordan Poole drained a three as time expired, giving the Wolverines the win and a spot in next week's Sweet 16.

While McQuaid's proved to a big momentum-swinging shot for Michigan State heading into halftime, the three-pointer made by Jordan Poole for Michigan just over 12 hours ago is the bigger shot between the two, when it comes down to importance.

Vincent Edwards scored 20 points and Dakota Mathias made a clutch 3-pointer with 14.2 seconds left, helping second-seeded Purdue over 10th-seeded Butler hold on for a 76-73 win Sunday in the second round. Matt McQuaid was quickly fouled after the ball was inbounded and made both free throws.

Auburn finally snapped the drought from the field when Bryce Brown hit a three-pointer 44 seconds into the second half.

Joel Berry II led the Tarheels with 21 points.
