The pair struck up a strong friendship during their four years together at the Nou Camp and that bond is said to have remained despite Neymar's world-record move to PSG last summer.

Los Blancos have been thrown out of the Copa dey Rey, but they have made it to the quarter final of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League.

Neymar has suggested that he is unsettled at Paris Saint-Germain after saying that his time in the French capital has felt "like years".

The older Neymar accompanied PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club's sporting director Antero Henrique during a visit of the Brazil international's youth charity center at Praia Grande in southeastern Brazil on Tuesday.

"[Neymar] has always been spectacular, since he was 11 years old", he told El Partidazovia Marca on Thursday night. "He does insane things", Casemiro was quoted as saying by Goal. "You would have to ask Florentino if there is a possibility or not".

Per Marca's Patricia Terroba, he reassured that Neymar was not his player before he added: "I don't know".

The Brazilian said that he hoped Neymar would come at the end of the season, hinting that talisman Cristiano Ronaldo would also welcome the move. He can do whatever he wants off the pitch if he continues to do what he does on it.

When it comes to football transfer rumours there's either no smoke without fire or it's a very clever ploy to get more money.

Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar is a long-time target of Madrid president Florentino Perez, who has reportedly maintained close contact with the player's father, who is also his agent, in recent months.
