Avengers attractions are coming to Disneyland parks around the world

Ant-Man and The Wasp take center stage in a new ride at Hong Kong Disneyland where it will join the already popular Iron Man Experience, which opened in 2017.

At Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, the new Marvel-themed area will have guests teaming up with Iron Man and other Avengers characters on an attraction to open in 2020, the blog said. Therefore, there can't be a Marvel-themed area at Disney World. That ride opened past year in what used to be the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. That includes a new Iron Man ride at Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, in what used to be France's version of the Rock "n" Roller Coaster with Aerosmith.

The Disney Hotel New York in Paris "will be reimagined to become ... the first Disney hotel to showcase the inspiring world of the Avengers, Spider- Man and more", according to Disney. The "It's Tough to Be A Bug" show has already closed, with the other, kiddie-sized rides closing in late summer.

California's Disneyland isn't the only park to be getting the Avengers treatment. That is also expected to open in 2020.

The new themed area will replace "A Bug's Land", based on the Disney film "A Bug's Life", so there will be no more riding in a Chinese takeout carton or spinning in Francis the Ladybug ride.

Fanboys and fangirls will get to revel in three new areas at three different parks. That area will be added to the Iron Man Experience, which was added to the park a year ago and is already one of its most popular attractions.

Hong Kong Disneyland's expansion will take also course over multiple years.
