Coogler directed the juggernaut original film released in February.

Speaking with The Wrap in a recent interview, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige officially confirmed that a movie based on the fictional race of superhumans has entered pre-production.

"We're going to do um, of course, Marve will have a presence there.Marvel Studios will have a presence there only in that there will be 10th-anniversary materials and a 10th-anniversary panel".

Feige built anticipation for the movie as he promised, "You're going to get the most powerful superhero that we've ever introduced with, I think, one of the most unique and inspiring origin stories". He noted that is a major reason the studio won't be participating in Comic-Con this year.

"I continued: "'Hypogonadal males without families doing death-defying things for two hours and wrecking cities in the process'". However, the movie will also deal with the Kree as the villains, the same characters we met in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, meaning that it opens up the opportunity to do more with characters like Ronan the Accuser and Korath the Pursuer, (and possibly other characters whose middle name is "the").

Ultimately, I voted for Salah, despite De Bruyne playing a huge role in City's Premier League title success this season. Salah's numbers put him alongside the pair, and his level of performance has been exceptional nearly every week.

In the aftermath of the staggering success of Black Panther earlier in the year, it was quickly confirmed that Marvel had plans for a follow-up movie.

"Then we would have had to change a lot of what we were thinking about, but it really just solidifies and excites us to continue to move forward in the directions we're heading in", continued Feige.

While it's not Avengers 5 (oh, come on, you all know it's coming), it's clear from Black Panther that, as we've said previously and as Collider agrees, he deserves a shot at making the sequel and continuing to make his own mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He said filming had already wrapped for Infinity War before Black Panther hit theaters.

That's as auspicious a summary of a film as we have ever seen, and it appears evident that Captain Marvel will be a pivotal entry in the MCU regardless of how it performs at the box office or amongst critics (though we have a feeling it will do well in both arenas).
