Pokemon GO Fest Returning to Chicago this Summer

As with last year's event, players who can't go to Pokemon Go Fest will still have the opportunity to "engage in a variety of activities and challenges", which probably means in-game bonuses and increased spawns around the world as with last year's event. Through tech issues and server problems, the game wasn't performing at the worst possible time. The 2018 event is dubbed "A Walk in the Park in Chicago".

European Pokemon Go trainers can look forward to a Pokemon Go event in Germany. Pokemon Go officially announced a new Safari ZOne event in Dortmund, Germany. The area will be settled with various cultural themes which will help lure in families and kids, it will also include a Japanese garden, a playground and more. Enjoy the fresh air and handsome view while catching many types of Pokémon!

While the event originally took place at Grant Park last year, this year's version will be located at Lincoln Park. "Single-day passes go on sale on May 11 for $20", reads the official blog post. "We are excited to be returning to Chicago for our USA event". Details of all the events can be found here. There will be additional activities spread throughout the entire city district of Dortmund, though like Pokemon Go Fest this year, we don't know what kinds of things there'll be for trainers to do.
