While we don't get to know yet how it works, it creates "a unique experience where you have control over your own story, but your story is set in an ever-changing multiplayer world".

BioWare's new game, "Anthem", is quickly turning into one of the more eagerly anticipated titles of next year for a variety of reasons. "You create your own character, you decide what happens next, and you become the hero", he said.

From the sound of things, Anthem is a game that will probably have a lot of long-term appeal (like Destiny) and will likely be supported by new content drops over time (again, like Destiny). For the sake of every gamer, and BioWare, we certainly hope so.

In a blog post on the BioWare site, Hudson talked about BioWare's future and how this vision fits with Anthem.

Seven found dead at property in WA
He said two firearms were found at the scene and confirmed that at least some of the victims suffered gunshot wounds. Police confirmed that five bodies - that of four children and one adult - were discovered inside the property.

SpaceX is about to test its new rocket for astronauts
The rocket's first stage - the section that returns to Earth for reuse - is where most of the shielding improvements were made. But NASA still requires seven successful flights before the new rocket receives final certification for a manned mission.

White House official calls Meghan McCain to apologize for remark about father
I know that those who used enhanced interrogation methods and those who approved them wanted to protect Americans from harm. McCain, a former Navy pilot, was tortured and kept in solitary confinement for two years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

Hudson goes on to explain each part of the statement in detail. Games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age feature AI companions while games like Star Wars: The Old Republic are all about playing with other real people. "Specifically, 'what if I don't want to play with randos?' 'What if I don't have friends that I play games with?' And, 'I like to be the one making choices in my story-if it's multiplayer, won't the story get watered down?'" "We are very pleased with the progress of our new action IP from BioWare - the design is stunning, gameplay mechanics are excellent, and the action will be exhilarating", EA said in its Fiscal Year 2017 earnings call.

The rest of EA's pitch to investors was also full of interesting details, including a combined sales figure for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 of 103 million at the end of previous year. If you're like me and have followed this studio for nearly 2 decades filled with wonderful adventures such as Jade Empire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Star Wars, and much more, then you know that this company is no stranger to building incredibly immersive worlds to get lost in.

While BioWare has already confirmed Anthem will have beta tests, EA underlines these promises and strongly hints we'll see some beta info revealed at E3 2018.
