The single-player title will release digitally on May 24 for $9.99 on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Steam.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon applies the retro feel experienced in the classic Castlevania games on the NES, featuring low fidelity sprites and world art. With multiple endings, tonnes of secrets, and lots of different paths to choose, it looks like there's going to be heaps of replayability; ideal for those who want to pass the time until Ritual of the Night is finished. Parallel to that, Koji Igarashi's Castlevania throwback is set for a release too. If you hate reading, here's a link to the game's official website.

Igarashi is working with developer Inti Creates on Curse of the Moon, which is a spinoff of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which is a modern spiritual successor to the Symphony of the Night.

A price-point for Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon hasn't yet been revealed.

Wenger uneasy with long Arsenal goodbye
Wenger has previously said he will continue working in football but won't make a decision until this summer. Huddersfield face Arsenal on Sunday in their final league match of the season at the John Smith's Stadium .

In Curse of the Moon, players will take control of four different characters: Zangetsu, Miriam, Gebel and Alfred.

The 8-bit retro-style action game was developed by game creator Koji Igarashi and Inti Creates.

Kickstarter backers who donated over the $28 tier will receive a code for the spin-off that'll allow them to play for free.

Fans are obviously not happy about this turn of events, and have been expressing their displeasure on the comment threads, forum boards, and backer sections for Bloodstained, but so far it doesn't sound like Artplay or Inti Creates will be budging.
