With the Premier League under the same TV deal as last season, each position in the table is set to be worth around £1.94million.

Manchester City have enjoyed a remarkable campaign under Guardiola, smashing Premier League records for points earned, goals scored and games won. I will not say just Liverpool, but it's true - Liverpool, (because of) the way they play and the quality of their players, not just up front. "He's created a model that has an offensive style that's always thinking about the spectators".

"My view is we are in the situation to get the job done against a very good team, the champions of England, and it was always going to be a hard game for us. Next season will be the same, like [Manchester] United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham".

"He's one of the players that we owe a debt of gratitude to this season because without them we wouldn't be where we are". I will speak with them. I wish them all the best in the final.

"Everybody has pushed in the same direction and I said the last time we were in this memory, and we had a great escape in my playing days, the one thing that got us over the line was to stick together".

"You have to be focused on what you have to do and it doesn't matter what happens during the game, good or bad, because you are a top, top player and he can do it".

"Hopefully we can help him have a target for next season, to try and help him be a better player".
