Police in Oklahoma looking for 7-year-old girl

Police are looking for Taheerah Ahmad and her 7-year-old daughter, and have issued an Amber alert because the younger daughter is believed to be in serious danger.

The 8-year-old child at the center of the Amber Alert has been found safe and the mother has been taken into custody, Tulsa police said.

Tulsa police say an 11-year-old girl who was found bound and stabbed in a burning home is in "very severe condition".

Tulsa police Officer Jeanne MacKenzie informed the newspaper when authorities arrived they discovered the 11-year-old "was stabbed so many instances that officers and EMSA on the scene couldn't even rely them".

Investigators say the 7-year-old girl helped the 9-year-old girl escape. A 9-year-old girl was also in the house and was able to get out and run to neighbors.

The 9-year-old woman fled to a close-by residence, the place a few of her prolonged household stay, and known as for assist.

Tulsa police say the girl's mother stabbed her Monday night before setting the house on fire and fleeing with a younger sibling, who's still missing. The previous night, Ahmad allegedly tied her three daughters up and stuck socks in their mouths before repeatedly stabbing the 11-year-old. She is believed to be driving a black 2005 Lexus RX3, with an Oklahoma paper tag, number UD-4967.

MacKenzie described Ahmad as a 6-foot-tall woman weighing about 190 pounds. She has curly hair and had it in a ponytail. She has curly black hair with gold streaks in it.

MacKenzie stated there was no recognized historical past of kid abuse or home violence. However, she said there "have been some issues talked about in the family".
