Led by Mohamed Salah's record-breaking 32nd Premier League goal of the season, Liverpool's victory at Anfield on Sunday secured fourth place, five points clear of Chelsea, who failed to apply any pressure in losing 3-0 at Newcastle.

Liverpool also have Dominic Solanke, 20, and Ben Woodburn, 18, coming through, while of course Salah and Firmino are hardly old men themselves at 25 and 26, respectively.

"This was the flawless final of the season, of a very exciting season, and a very intense season".

"We showed again the kind of football we couldn't show in the last few games because the boys are humans not machines".

"We know there is an equally well-qualified team on the other side". This was a performance that should serve the youngster in good stead going into next season. We had to prove that it was possible playing in the Champions League and qualifying for the Champions League.

Lewis Hamilton 'close' to new deal with Mercedes
Wolff revealed in Barcelona that discussions had been put on the back burner following Mercedes' troubled start to the season. Lewis Hamilton knows better than to get too carried away with Sunday's victory at the Spanish Grand Prix .

Thomas Tuchel named new coach at Paris Saint-Germain
However, Tuchel - a modest player whose career was cut short by a knee injury - is not yet proven as a coach at the highest level. There is extraordinary potential at Paris Saint-Germain and it was by far the most exciting option I had".

Rage 2: Release Window, Gameplay Details Announced
We're hopeful for Switch support too , but we'll have to wait and see just how graphically demanding gameplay is. Prior to the official announcement, nearly everyone was saying it was Rage 2 , and it turns out they were right.

"The top six now is so strong, everyone's really competitive, so for us to finish in the top three for a third year in a row is brilliant".

Speaking after Tottenham's 5-4 win against Leicester on the final (Kane scored twice, by the way), the England worldwide has challenged Salah to repeat his incredible season from his debut campaign at Liverpool.

"It's good to have competition and it's great for the Premier League to have two players at the 30-goal mark", Kane told reporters. "It would have been nice to do it earlier but now we have to do it on the last day", the Liverpool manager said. "We will also train hard to stay in shape and to prepare ourselves for Real Madrid".

Salah and team-mate Roberto Firmino are the first Liverpool players to hit double figures in a Champions League campaign - they have 10 apiece in the competition proper this term and each added one in the play-off second leg against Hoffenheim. I have no problem concentrating on Brighton, I have not been skipping forward to think about Real Madrid.

"It was a direct Real Madrid, one with an intention of being offensive; when [Toni] Kroos, Isco and [Luka] Modric got the ball, they quickly turned and looked for the players up front. Obviously it's hard to score that many goals otherwise other people would have done it already".
