US President Donald Trump today acknowledged that he paid his personal attorney Michael Cohen as much as United States dollars 250,000 as reimbursements for election-related expenses, apparently including a USD 130,000 payment given to adult film star Stormy Daniels who alleges she had an affair with the then presidential candidate.

The footnote appears in a report giving the first extended look at Trump's income from his properties since he became president.

Mr Akhtar said that return wasn't enough and Mr Cohen's business partners who did the day-to-day management stole the wages of taxi drivers.

Al-Rumaihi told Cohen that Qatar expected to invest in Trump plans to solicit investment in a USA infrastructure programme, the Post reported. He also said Trump paid Cohen far more than $130,000 - Cohen received around $460,000 or $470,000, Giuliani said, which included "incidental expenses" that Cohen had incurred on Trump's behalf. That's why I came forward'. All have confirmed payments to Mr Cohen.

Now, legal experts are saying that Trump needs to declare any payments related to Daniels because payments made to the adult film star in 2016 could possibly be violations of campaign finance law.

The private company Mr Rumaihi - who is no longer in government - founded previous year, Sport Trinity, did not respond to a request for comment.

Even before entering the White House, Trump's presidential campaign provoked concerns about conflicts of interest. Qatar's embassy in Washington declined to comment on the revelations. Cohen offered to help find projects for Qatar to sponsor, in exchange for a $1 million upfront fee, the newspaper reported.

This suggests that federal investigators are probing his relationships with companies who made payments to his shell company, perhaps in connection with the investigation that led to the recent unusual raid on his office.
